OUR STORY
Link One Technology Consultants Ltd. started in 2011 as a telecom consultancy company registered in the UAE (United Arab Emirates) and specialized in submarine and terrestrial transmission systems. With its local knowledge and exposure to general technology markets of the Arabian Gulf, Link 1, in cooperation with its partners offers a broad range of services related to the telecom industry as whole.

Link One has evolved from the telecom consultancy company to a tech business facilitator with much broader reach than initially anticipated. Our partners are located in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Middle East. Our Vision is to help technology companies conquer new territories and expand their business in the way they have never thought was possible.
OUR STRATEGY
The first step in every new venture of Link One is to learn as much as possible about the business of the new partner and the needs and possible challenges the company is facing. A bit about the consultants:
Piotr Ambicki
​
Piotr has over 30 years of experience in subsea telecom industry starting his career with TAT-9 trans-Atlantic cable project in 1991. Throughout the years Piotr has been involved in number of major subsea projects in Europe, Middle East, North America and Asia including FEA, FA-1, FNAL, and GBI covering manufacturing, installation, testing, commissioning and operations of the subsea systems. Moreover, Piotr has been working as technology consultant for major operators in the Middle East including Mobily in the Saudi Arabia. In his various positions, Piotr has overseen quality aspects of manufacturing, shipment, installation testing and final delivery of subsea systems including subsea cable, terminal equipment and cable landing stations.
Neil Axford
​
Neil has over 25 years experience in the telecoms industry. Prior to his current involvement in Link 1 Neil worked as a Director of Operations in GBI Cable System. Neil’s responsibilities included the setup of the Network Operations Center and the associated Operational Support Systems to ensure the smooth management of the GBI Network. Prior to GBI Neil held position of Director, Global Technical Services and Head of Global Provisioning and Restoration in FLAG Telecom (Reliance Globalcom). Neil has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Bath University in Electronic and Communication Engineering.
Dan Liongson
Dan has been working in the Telecom Network Management for more than 30 years. His main responsibilities included network and traffic interconnection arrangements. In this capacity, he overlooks various aspects of the network including service delivery, restoration and interconnection arrangements for customers, partners and suppliers. He also has played a key role in construction activities, vendor management and network expansions worldwide. Dan held various technical and operational positions with Bell Atlantic, FLAG Telecom (Reliance Globalcom), AT&T, and GBI and was involved with construction, network planning, Engineering and operations for landline, mobile, and sub-sea systems.
Mir Talpur
Mir is a Techno-Commercial Business leader with 22 Years of exceptional experience in the I.T / Telecom industry, working with and/or for Telco Operators, Public Sector ICT Service Providers and Consulting Firms in EMEA region and Canada. Mir brings to Link1, a big picture vision and wealth of experience in ICT Consulting, Commercial Strategy, Partner / Vendor Alliances, Bid Management, Pre-sales, Product management, Operating models, Governance Control and Program management. Prior to joining Link One, Mir has delivered on various leadership roles as Advisor ICT, Country Manager, Principal Consultant, Program Director and Sr. Product Manager with some of the major service providers / Telcos in EMEA region and Canada.
Steve Bladen
Steve is a Project Manager, specialising in the management and delivery of international marine installation projects. He has a proven management record in multi-cultural environments throughout the Middle East, Asia, Europe and America, leading teams of subject matter experts. Steve has 35 years of experience in project management, in the defence, engineering and marine industries, and has worked the last 25 years in senior management positions in the submarine telecommunications industry. He has held management positions in a number of leading telcos including BT, Cable & Wireless, FLAG Telecom, Reliance Communications and Gulf Bridge International. Steve is a professional engineer and holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Wales
